Common questions
What counts as a student on the Free plan?
Students enrolled in your classes count toward the 5-student limit. Intro bookings (pre-enrollment sessions) are not counted — the cap applies at the point of formal enrollment.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The Free plan requires no payment details. You upgrade when you're ready.
What happens if I hit the 3 transcript limit on Free?
You'll see a prompt to upgrade. Existing transcripts and queue items are unaffected, and Zoom recordings that arrive past the limit wait in Unmatched Transcripts until your month resets.
Does Zoom auto-capture require any setup?
Yes — you connect your Zoom account once in the Meet tab, on any plan. After that, completed sessions are pulled in automatically. On Free, each auto-pulled session uses one of your 3 monthly transcripts; Pro is unlimited and adds group-class processing.
Can the AI use the materials my students upload?
Students can upload their materials — homework photos, syllabi, past papers — on every plan, and they land on that student's profile. On Pro, the AI assistant reads those files, so you can ask it to plan a lesson around exactly what the student sent. On Free you receive and view the files; the AI reading them is a Pro feature.
Can I cancel Pro anytime?
Yes, cancel anytime from your Settings. You keep Pro access until the end of the billing period.
