Terms of Service
Effective June 10, 2026
These terms govern your use of TutorTrack (tutortrackai.com), operated by its founder (“TutorTrack”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use TutorTrack.
1. What TutorTrack is
TutorTrack is a platform for private tutors. It captures tutoring sessions (via Zoom recordings or uploaded transcripts) and uses AI to draft session recaps, lesson summaries, parent emails, follow-up assignments, and invoices. Drafts wait in your Inbox — nothing is sent, published, or charged without your explicit approval.
2. Your account
- You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Tutor accounts are for adults (18+). Student accounts may be used by minors only with the consent and supervision of a parent, guardian, or their tutor.
- You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion permanently deactivates the account and anonymizes your personal information — see the Privacy Policy for details.
3. Your content and responsibilities
- You own the content you upload (transcripts, student information, assignments). You grant us the limited right to process it solely to provide the service — e.g. sending a transcript to our AI provider to generate your drafts.
- Recording consent is your responsibility. Laws on recording conversations vary by region. Before recording a session or uploading its transcript, make sure you have any consent required from students and, for minors, their parents or guardians.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of anything you approve. AI drafts can contain mistakes — review them before they go out. That review step is the product, not a formality.
- Don't use TutorTrack to send spam, harass anyone, infringe others' rights, upload malicious content, or attempt to break or overload the service.
4. AI-generated content
Drafts are generated by third-party large language models from your session content and each student's memory file. They are starting points, not professional advice, and may be inaccurate or incomplete. You approve every draft before it reaches a student or parent, and you are responsible for what you approve.
5. Plans, billing, and payments
- The Free plan has usage limits (shown on the pricing page). Pro is a monthly subscription billed through Stripe; current pricing is listed at tutortrackai.com/pricing.
- You can cancel Pro at any time from Settings → Manage billing. Access continues until the end of the paid period; we don't offer partial-month refunds.
- Invoicing uses Stripe Connect. Stripe's own terms apply to your connected account. TutorTrack does not hold your funds and is not a party to the payment relationship between you and your clients.
- We may change prices with reasonable advance notice; changes apply from your next billing cycle.
6. Service availability
We aim to keep TutorTrack reliable, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We may modify or discontinue features, and we may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TutorTrack is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose (or $50 if you paid nothing).
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. For material changes we'll give notice (e.g. by email or in-app) before they take effect. Continuing to use TutorTrack after changes take effect means you accept them.
